Worried about hair breakage after perm

I got a wavy perm about three weeks ago and love how it looks, but I've noticed way more hair shedding than usual. My hair's fine and thin, and it breaks easily in the shower. I brush once daily to avoid tangles, what bond-building products can help without ruining the perm?

It's definitely worse after washing, clumps come out when I rinse and condition. I'll look into K18 and Olaplex No. 3, thanks for the tip..hoping they help keep my waves intact

I haven't tried spacing out washes yet, but I do use a regular pillowcase. A silk one sounds worth a shot especially if it helps with breakage, thanks for the Aveda tip, too
