I'm trying to get my pin curl technique just right and I'm curious about how long I should be using the bonnet dryer. What temps and processing times do you find work best for various hair types? Also, do you have any tips for making sure my wet sets turn out consistently?

Medium heat for about 30–45 minutes works for most hair. Fine hair needs less time, thick hair needs more, keep curl sizes even, pull hair tight, and don't touch until it's completely cool.

For fine hair, 20–30 mins on low heat usually does the trick. Thicker or coarse hair might need 45–60 mins on medium. Always make sure the curls are fully dry before taking them down. Moisture is the enemy of definition! For consistent sets, use setting lotion and keep your sections even. A little tension when wrapping helps too.
