Which is better for everyday use: hair extensions or wigs?

I've been considering switching up my look more often and want something that's easy to manage, natural-looking, and comfortable for daily wear. I'm torn between investing in high-quality hair extensions or going with a wig. Extensions seem more seamless, but wigs offer more flexibility and protect natural hair. For anyone who has used both, what are the pros and cons you've experienced? Which one feels more practical for everyday life, especially in terms of comfort, maintenance, and long-term value?

I’m not an expert on the subject, but have had both. I preferred the extensions for naturalness, and in the summer heat, comfort.
